Do you agree that transgenders should not be allowed admission in women universities?^*

Women universities are opening admissions to transgenders. The Transgender Person's Protection of Rights Act, 2018 allows biological males to register in NADRA as transgenders/transwomen/transgender (female). The admission of transgenders in women universities means that biological men will be able to

• sit in women-only classes as "women"
• use female restrooms and common rooms
• be housed in female hostels

and this will

• violate the privacy of female students
• threaten the safety and security of female students

and

• sabotage the basic purpose of women-only HEIs, which is to provide a segregated environment for education.
